La Leche League of Dunwoody

La Leche League (LLLI) is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian
organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and
encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. If you are a woman
interested in breastfeeding, La Leche League welcomes you. You need not
be pregnant or have a family to attend La Leche League meetings. Any
woman who hopes to have children, is a grandmother, or who wishes to find
out more about breastfeeding is welcome. Those of you who are pregnant
will find it most helpful to start the
Series Meetings before your baby arrives.
Nursing babies and small children who would be unhappy away from their
mother are encouraged to come along to LLL meetings with their mothers.

La Leche League of Dunwoody
offers support and information through:

  • Mother-to-Mother support
  • Monthly meetings
  • Telephone help from accredited Leaders
  • Lending Library with books on childbirth, breastfeeding,
parenting, and more!

Mother-to-Mother Support

La Leche League is a network of mother-to-mother support and information.
LLL meetings are informal, with women sharing breastfeeding ideas
and mothering tips in group discussion.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by
La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all
aspects of breastfeeding
